Sent mail will not send immediately

Misha

I want my mail to send after completing a message, but it
goes into the outbox. This is not a big deal except that
then I have to hit send again. I have Outlook 2002 (Not
Outlook express). I have tried clicking the "send
immediately when connected" in the Options, but no luck.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you

Not until you state you mail account type and connection type.
Also, make sure you didn't set your profile to work offline.

If you are using Internet Email you can set to "Establish
the Connection Manually" on the connections tab in the
properties window of that account. That will cause
messages you send to stay in the Outbox until you click
send again.
