outlook not send mail immediately

Hi -

Outlook 2002 will not automatically send email when click on send button.
Outlook places msg in outbox, then must click on send receive button to
send. Option is checked in Tools Option to send mail immediately.

You must post your mail account type and connection type for anyone even to
start on this. Include any automatic polling intervals you have set and
whether Outlook is set to Work online or offline.
