Sent Items Missing some recepients email address

C

Chris

We have an outside client that we deal with on a regular basis. A problem
that we are having in OWA and Outlook 2003 is when users in our network do a
reply all that contain email address from our outside client, they are
missing from the sent items to: field

For example i received an email from (e-mail address removed) and it went to 5
coworkers and 5 outside email address. I do a reply all and write my email
and send.

When i go to my sent items and click on the email to see who it went too it
will be missing the external email address. It doesn’t matter if they were
in the TO field or the CC. This doesn't happen all the time but its pretty
frequent.

The outside users are receiving the email.

We are Exchange 2003 with all patches on 2003 Server all patches.

If you need more info or clarification, please let me know

Thanks

Chris

So the addresses are missing if you open the mail? The only thing i can
think is that the virus or content scanner is doing it but you should check
in the exchange groups also. See

Yes, if you open up a sent email, the outside people are missing, but they
are getting the emails.

I do have Mcafee scanning emails on the exchange server.

The only thing is it dosn't happen everytime

Yeah, the fact that its on again, off again, makes me think its not AV
scanning and since it happens it owa, I don't think its anything in outlook.
The exchange guys might have some ideas. .
