Sent Hyperlink inactive

Using Outlook 2003 when I paste a URL into the body of a message, it is not
displayed as an active link when received, and of course does not work when
clicked.
Doing the same process with Outlook Express on the same PC works as
expected, with the received Hyperlink being active.
Any help appreciated.

When you copy the URL you'll need to type a SPACE or press ENTER for
AutoCorrect to change it to a hyperlink automagically.
