"SENDTO'' an external usb portable HD

I found at least three "SendTo" directories: under Owner, All Users,
and Default User.

Must I put a shortcut to my external HD in each one of these folders
in order to have the right-click context menu send files to the
external HD?

Normally, the owner is the only person that uses the machine.

Thanks

Put it under the user that you want to have it work for (in your case,
Owner). Under All Users - it won't do anything. Under Default User - it
will be added to any new users profiles that are created.

If you right-click on the Start button and select Explore (not "Explore
All Users"), it will open to your current user's start menu. Right above
that should be the correct Send To to put the shortcut into. This may
not work if you still have the cartoon type of Start Menu turned on (I
never do, so I can't remember what it looks like).

Put the shortcut in your account's(in this case, Owner) SendTo folder.
