HD from XP computer used as external drive...can't access document

I had some problems with my Dell Dimension so I bought a new computer and
took the old HD out and put it into an Adaptec external USB case to use as a
backup and to acccess old files. The files on the C drive are accessible, but
my user account on the old machine (XP Home) was set up as admin with no
access to limited users.

When I navigate to External Drive/Documents and Settings/My Old Accout, I
get an 'Access is Denied' error.

Any help on getting past this???
