Sending to camcorder, not enough time

Hi,

I have a 17minute movie i made from my trip to mexico,
and im trying to put it back on the camcroder to i can
put it on tv, but the battery always runs out before it
will finish putting to tape, it takes like 240min, but
the battery only last 112minutes, is there any ways that
i can get this to tape faster or what? i am using a sony
camcorder

Are you using WMM? Did you try rendering to DV-AVI before sending it to
tape and then sending the DV-AVI to the camcorder?
i am using a sony
camcorder

Are we supposed to guess which among the 100s of models of Sony Camcorders
you are using :)

Does your camcorder support hooking up the DC power source to the camcorder?
My Canons do.

Plug your camcorder into the wall outlet so it doesn't run down during the
process
