Sending Skype Videos as Attachments on Windows Mail

Many of my attempts to send Skype videos as attachments (on Windows Mail)
have brought a message that the transmission cannot be made as the size
exceeds that permitted. What is the size permitted?

And does anyone familiar with Skype know how I may CONTROL the size? I find
an option on Skype for "image size" (ranging from "email size" to 8
megapixels). I do not know if that option determines a) the size of the
file being made as the picture is recorded, or, b) the size of the file as
it is be transmitted (in which case it might have been originally recorded
as a larger file)?

And how can one calculate the number of Megabytes when both Megapixels and
time are known?

WM does not have a sending size limit, your ISP probably does, contact them
to find out what it is?

I am not familiar with Skype.

In WM you can set it to break apart large messages at
Tools>accounts>select your account>properties>advanced tab.

You can set the break apart setting at say 500KB and that should be OK with
your ISP.

(Remember that emailing adds around 33% to the size of the original
attachments).

The various parts of the message that are sent can be made into one mail by
selecting each part and then on the Message menu choose 'Combine & Decode,
then double click the resultant attachment to open the mail as you sent it.

You should advise your recipient of how to do 'Combine & Decode'.
