sending messages via outlook

I have several computers on my network, although all PC's have Outlook. only
one is setup to send/receive mails. For various reasons I do not want the
other PC's connected to any email server. Is it possible to send a message or
mail from one pc to another via outlook without having them connected to an
email server?

Nope as Outlook communicates via email protocols. You could host your
internal mail server of course and not connect that to the Internet either.

Outlook is simply a client software. This means it requires a server (mail in
Outlook's case) in order to send/receive anything.

Thanks Roady. How would I host my internal mail server? (sorry not too
familiar with this)

First decide upon which kind of mail server you would need ;-) It kinda
depends on what you are currently running in your network already.
If you have a Windows Server, then you can use it already for basic POP3;

3rd party products can be found here;

If you actually want to create a shared environment, then this addin might
be useful to you are well;
