Hi,

Can anyone help me with sending a fax to another country
using the fax facility in XP. The "Location" is
permanently "greyed" out and displays Australia 61. If
sending a fax overseas do I simply type in the whole
string including the international dialling code, country
code etc and not worry about the "Location" ?

Thanks

Steve

Just ignore the location and proceed as you have stated.
Good Luck!

You can use dialing rules to make your life easier if you are using calling
card. Also if you have to dial certain number before dialing International
numbers then this is acheivable by dialing rules. That way you just put in
the Phone number from the address book or type and not workk about the exact
sequence of nos that needs to be dialied before the actual fax number.
