Sending in Plain Text...?

Kenneth

Howdy,

I run OL2000 with Word as my email editor. I have it set to
default to send in HTML.

On occasion, I need to send a message in Plain Text.

I just experimented with sending a message by clicking Edit
| Select All | Format, and then choosing the style of Plain
Text.

To my surprise, that actually sends the message as HTML.

I know that I could click Tools | Options | Mail Format |
Drop Down | and choose Plain Text, but if I do all that, I
than have to repeat those steps to go back to the HTML that
is my preference.

Is there a way that I can leave HTML as my chosen default,
but can tell Outlook to send a particular message as true
Plain Text?

Sincere thanks,

You should be able to set that option for particular users, in your contacts.

Hello again,

I thank you, but that will not meet my need.

It is the individual message that must be sent in plain text
rather than particular individuals who must receive plain
text. In addition, these recipients are not in my contacts
list, and I don't want them to be.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks,

Did you try the Actions | New Mail Message Using | Plain Text command?
