Send HTML and plain text

How do you have Outlook send an email in both HTML and plain text? I
am hoping to use a HTML template for stationery, but don't want the
recipients to receive Chinese if their email client does not support
HTML. I want to give my clients the option of reading a plain text
version if they turn off html email as well.

Do you adjust a setting in Outlook or does Outlook automatically
perform the action?

Does sending HTML and text email refer to mime email?

Let's avoid the debate revolving around HTML emails. The decision has
already been made from above. Please let me know if you could ease the
process with good suggestions.

I'd suggest leaving the choice of format up to your recipients. This takes the
guess-work out of the equation. Issue your newsletter in plain text and include
a link to advise you if they preferred an HTML version. Your notice should
specify its advantages, if there are any.

Naturally you would have to maintain two mailing lists, one for plain text and
the other for HTML recipients.

Outlook automatically creates a plain text version of any HTML message you send. You cannot, however, separately control what that plain text version looks like.

Some organizations offer their subscribers an option of receiving a newsletter in HTML or plain text and then generate two separate mailings, one for each version.
