Sending emails in Outlook 2003

After clicking on send from the new message box, it only
sends the new email to the Outbox and waits for another
click of 'send/receive' before sending the email. Is
there a way to send it on the first click
of 'send/receieve'

This is in OUtlook XP but I'm sure it's not much different in 2003. Go to
Tools->Options->Mail Setup (tab). Make sure "Send immediately when
connected" is checked.

Yep, that is how to do it in 2003.
