sending document using aol

I have tried unsuccessfully to send a document as email
but Word keeps trying to send using hotmail, even when I
am signed on to hotmail) I have as account) I refuses to
send. can anyone help?
 
how are you trying to send it? File-->Send To-->Mail Recipient??
