Sending an email that is not received

R

When I repled to an email it was not received by the original sender. I
didn't receive a message telling me that the email had not been received. I
then sent a test email and copied myself. I received the copy but again the
recipient didn't. My pal then sent an email to a number of his friends
requesting a reply and he received replies from all of them. So it seems that
he is receiving emails from everyone except me and I'm sending emails to
everyone except him. I should state that this has only happened within the
last week, up until then I had been sending emails to this address without
any problems.

Any light that could be shed on this would be most appreciated,.

Tell him to check the messages on the server and see if yours are in a junk
folder. He may have you blocked either on the server or on his machine with
you blocked without realizing it, so he should also check his blocked
senders list.

Does the "original sender" use Windows Mail? If so then they should check
their Junk E-mail folder for your messages. Other than that, the problem is
not a Windows Mail problem and this newsgroup is for Windows Mail. This
newsgroup is highly active and the experts usually avoid helping with
anything other than Windows Mail.

Have the original sender check to ensure that there is not a filter in their
system that filters spam. Also they need to check what their incoming email
server does with spam. Their ISP should have documentation and they might
have a way to determine if your messages are considered spam. Note that it
is very possible that the server you use to send messages might be guilty of
sending spam, and if so then that will cause all messages you send to be
considered spam. That sounds unreasonable but it happens to me.

I am using Windows Mail and I am sending emails to people that I ahve always
been sending to and now soemtimes they receive & sometimes they do not. They
are not in my Junk Email box and they have not blocked me & my emails are not
in their junk email. Any other suggestions?

Have the intended recipients checked both their junk email folder in their
mail program as well as the spam folder in their webmail? Depending on
their webmail settings, suspected spam emails may not be allowed to
download.

Other than that, one would need an error message to figure out what is
going on.
