sending a large group email without getting nabbed for spammin?

I am a musician, and have a mailing list, in Outlook, of about 2000 names.
For years now, I’ve had my contacts in Outlook, and have regularly emailed my
mailing list a newsletter of sorts. I normally send out around 500 messages
per posting, by using Mail Merge in Outlook, selecting contacts from the
list, making form letters, and merging to my email to send them to my list.
Recently, I’ve had difficulty doing these mailings, and suddenly after a
recent posting to the list, my email account was closed, because, I was told
by MSN when I called to see what was up, that I’d been nabbed as a spammer.
The tech support person I spoke with at QWEST/MSN to reinstate my account,
said the daily limit is 50, and suggested making several email accounts from
which to send things so I don’t exceed the limit.
Can anyone give me some advice about if there’s a way to be able to send
large numbers of emails at one time? Do I need to hire some kind of
mass-mail email server? I’ve tried to search the MSN sites for help on this ,
and am not having luck… Maybe you can just send me links to info if you can
find some…???

Thanks!

Free sites like Yahoogroups.com, Googlegroups.com and MSN, with its "groups," make it easy to maintain medium-sized mailing lists like yours, including subscribe and unsubscribe features. Once you establish the list, you will probably need to go through customer service to get them to add your existing names.
