Send webpage as an e-mail

I'm creating a newsletter in FrontPage and I'd like to also send it as an
e-mail. How would I do that? I tried pasting the html code in Outlook but
that doesn't work.

Try using Outlook Express instead.

I presume you mean all you get by pasting the html is getting the code in
the message area of Outlook......

How about pasting the content from Design Vview in Frontpage to a new
message in outlook - that works. There's no "source code view" in Outlook

In the browser save it as a .mht and send the .mht as an attachment

This is pretty much the idea of what I'd like to do. I tried pasting it from
the design view but some of the elements were misaligned.

Is there another method?

I'd actually like for it to appear in the e-mail instead of attaching a file.
For example, when I receive e-newsletters from companies they always appear
in my e-mail. Is there a way to do that?

Try it with Outlook Express instead of Outlook...much easier.

View the page in IE then from the menu
"File">"Send">"Page by E-mail"
You need to have Outlook Express as your default E-mail client.

I thought I would try this on my home page.

It opened Microsoft Outlook (not my default) and generated an email with the
To: field blank and this body
The message is ready to be sent with the following file or link attachments:
index.html
Note: To protect against computer viruses, e-mail programs may prevent
sending or receiving certain types of file attachments. Check your e-mail
security settings to determine how attachments are handled.

index.html appeared as an attachment.

I filled in my own email adress and clicked Send

Result: Zero Zilch Nil Nothing.
There was no action whatsoever

Any ideas?
(This is only out of interest, as I can use the mailto: which uses OE quite
OK)

You must have missed the part when I said...
"You need to have Outlook Express as your default E-mail client."

And you send from IE...... "File">"Send">"Page by E-mail"
Then IE will open your "default" E-mail program (Needs to be Outlook
Express)

Outlook will not work...

No I didn't miss it. I thought OE *was* my default
And you send from IE...... "File">"Send">"Page by E-mail"

I just checked and OE was *not* my default - Outlook was. How that happened,
I don't know.
Outlook will not work...

The moral (for me) is:
Never assume anything - always check ;-)

I am trying to set it up correctly now, but it's taking for ever. When/if it
works, I'll try again.
