send to shortcut

using windows xp home edition, i want to create a send to shortcut so I can
copy files to a cd. can someone give me instructions how to create this
shortcut...all other drives have one, however, I am unable to create one for
my cd drive. thanks

This should automatically be created for all
writable/recordable drives. It sounds like your CD writer
is not enabled to record with the built in Windows XP
burning utility. Right click on your CD Writer in My
Computer, select the "Recording" tab, and check the box
titled "Enable CD recording on this device".
