send/reply freeze outlook 2003

Everytime I try to send or reply to my e mail I get and hour glass cursor
that will stay on the screen and nothing can be done, it basically freezes.
in some cases a message will come on after a few minutes: "can't create file:
SW.vcf. right click the folder you want to create the file in, and then click
properties on the shortcut menu to check your permission for the folder" What
the heck?
 
Do you have a signature with a business card attached to it?
If so, disable this signature and see if it works now.
