Is there any way to set up outlook so you don't have to click send/receive to
get emails? When I had outlook express your email automatically downloaded
when you signed on.

Robin, check your settings as follows:

Go to Tools on your menu bar
Go to Options
Click on the General tab
In the middle you should see "Send/Receive Messages". Check and see if the
box beside "Send and receive messages at startup" is checked.

You need to set up a polling interval in order for Outlook to check for
messages automatically. Since you didn't tell us what version of Outlook
you're using, we can't tell you how to do that.
