Send/receive icon in task bar sticks

Ever since the latest update for Office 2007 the send/receive icon in the
task bar sticks. When it checks for mail the send/receive icon appears (two
envelops) but it does not return to the Outlook icon (gold clock) when it
finishes. When I move my curser over the send/receive icon, it then returns
to the gold clock icon. This is new. The icon used to change back to the
clock on its own when it finished checking and there was no mail.

Known issue which is being looked into. It's just an icon representation; it
doesn't harm the system ;-)

Any word on if Microsoft has a fix for this yet? There's been enough updates
since your last post that this should be fixed. It's a bit annoying for me
to have this hang since I always do a manual send/receive and this makes me
think the send/receive is still in progress. Unfortunately, the icon doesn't
necessarily disappear when I hover my mouse over the icon. Sometimes it will
if I do another send/receive. Also, not sure this makes a difference, but
I'm on Win XP Pro SP3, Office 2007 SP1.
