Send Receive has Stopped Working

My send/receive function in Outlook (XP professional edition)is no longer
working. You click on send/receive and nothing happens. No error messages,
just no response. I can go to the web and go to www.mail2web.com and
retrieve my e-mail from that website, so it is not a problem with my
company's server. I was told it might be due to interference from Norton
antivirus, and uninstalled it and uninstalled and re-installed XP, but I
still can't send/receive.....any ideas?

Could you turn on diagnostic logging (see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q300479) and post
the OPMLog.log file after trying to send/receive?
