send/receive disabled by mcafee v.9

I installed Outlook 2003 on my pc several weeks ago and it has been running
fine. Recently, I installed Mcafee antivirus v.9 w/ Spamkiller included.
Now, the send/receive does not work on Outlook. The username and password
menu pops up, then I click OK, and another username/password menu pops up.
This keeps repeating.

Is this an Outlook problem or a Mcafee problem? How do I fix it? Thanks in
advance for any help.
