Send pictures via email

When I right click on an image to send pictures to an email recipient,
the Send Pictures Via Email box opens with two options: "Make all my
pictures smaller" and "Keep the original sizes." Since the first
option uses the word "all" I would like to know if these two options
are just for this particular email or are they for this and subsequent
emails?
