send from word to powerpoint

I'm using Word 2003, I want to send a document to PowerPoint, but PowerPoint
only uses the default heading styles from word that are Heading 1, Heading2,
How can I send the document to PowerPoint using my own styles?

the process isn't only picking up Heading styles; it's actually picking
up outline levels. You can apply these levels to your custom styles.

You cannot, however, remove the property from the built-in heading styles.
