send from different contact list (2007)

Bear with me, please I just upgraded. In 2003 I had different contact lists
by categories of groups I work with. I moved them to 2007. however, now
when I try to send an email, I can only navigate to the Contacts folder. I
cannot access the other contact lists I created. Can I fix this?

Too little information. By "different contact lists" do you mean separate
Contact subfolders? If so, in what view can you not access them?

I'm not sure my last reply posted. In 2003 when I clicked the "to" button, a
screen came up that said "select from" and then there was a drop down menu of
the different contact folders i had created (I don't think they were sub
folders. They are listed under contacts as separate folders from contacts
and not indented). So I have folders for "contacts" "class" and "attorneys"
I could choose one and find the name. In 2007 the only drop down options are
"contacts" and "outlook address book"
Am I making sense?

So you are talking about the address book view and separate Contact Folders.
You forgot to enable your other folders to appear as an email address book.
Do so in the Properties of each folder.
