Send error to microsoft

My customer is having a problem with a file she is
attempting to edit. It is a 1.7 GB mpeg file. The
program divides it into clips but everytime you drag one
of the clips down to the storyboard it comes up with an
error to send to microsoft and it has nothing to help with
the resolution of the problem. The sample movies work and
this file works on a new system (It just will not divide
it into clips). I have even upgraded here system up to an
XP 2200+ with 1 gb SDRAM and it still fails. I even
thoght uninstall and reinstall but this not possible with
Movie Maker.

Please help soon.
