Send email from Outlook in Office Pro 2002

Outlook just stopped sending email. Still receive email. Get error message
that says [version 2002 (10.6838.6845) SP3 and all Office software is updated
current as is Windows] the mail server will not let me login and tells me to
go to tools/options/email accounts and check user name and password. I have
done this numerous times and also with my email provider to no avail. I have
used original software CD to co "find and repair" the Office files and I have
even reinstalled the Office software. Nothing works!

Any ideas on how to solve this issue?

Any chance you're running an Anti Virus application setup to scan your
email? Username and password problems like this are a common failure mode
with email scanners.
