in my pc "programs" I have Microsoft Office Standard "Edition" 2003. I
installed Microsoft Office "Outlook" "Standard" 2003 according to ebay bought
software.
when downloading, window pops up: Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003 for
"Students and Teachers" and typed in key from ebay item.

I basically want my email account with Microsoft Office Standard Edition
2003, because it looks nice. I can receive emails, but cannot send or use
other features.

MS Office std edition 2003 allready includes Outlook
You have to Activate Office in order to use it.
The key for your Ebay purchase is the wrong key for your installed version
of Office.
Where did you obtain the MS Office Std Version from?
Do you have the cd and does it not have an orange sticker with key on?

hi DL: I bought this PC at a computer show in Pomona, it came with only a cd
that is a Installation Guide TFT LCD Monitor. I have installed/uninstalled
the program from Ebay a couple of times, now, I can't reply to my emails as
before all this started. In Control Panel programs, I have MO Outlook
2003-226.00MB and the MO Standard Editon 2003 - 4,092.00MB. The Ebay bought
cd has an orange sticker on it, but when keyed in, it won't take it. Remember
it asks for MO (for Teachers and Students)? before keying in. Please help DL,
if u need more info re: pc, pls ask. Tx!

Let's take it from the top: I had a trial of MO Standard Edition 2003, it
expired in May. Couldn't afford to full product conversion, so bought M.O.
Outlook Standard 2003 "new" product key on Ebay. Installed this key no. in
setup wizard but it states: M.O. Standard Edition 2003 for Students and
Teachers and will not take the key no. I bought. 1) is it because it's
"Outlook" or 2) Ebay key no. is not a "full conversion" product? 3) for
Students and Teachers? Help!!!!!!

The product key for Outlook is different for each suite packaging. If you
buy Outlook stand-alone, the product key for that Outlook will not activate
the Outlook contained in, say, Office 2003 Student and Teacher Edition. You
must uninstall the Outlook you currently have installed and install the
version whose key you have.

hi, I just removed the Outlook from my programs, but how should I install the
version I bought, do I just go to the wizard window where it asks to convert
and type in the product key, and/or do I install the disc that came with
product key?

I have installed the disc for Microsoft Office Outlook Standard Edition 2003
and inserted the product key, so why can't I have a email account and also
noticed I can't type letters in Microsoft Word? ( I do have road runner
email account in my Outlook, and in Road Runner, should I delete the Road
Runner and keep the socal.rr.com email account in Outlook, instead?)
Help!!!!!!!
