Rami

I'm moving to a new PC. Having reinstalled Office 2007 not incl. Outlook
2002
and tried to reinstall Outlook 2002 . When I started Ol 2002 the massage was:
"un uble to open your default email folders. Could not open the item. try
again"
and than " Would you like to open yourdefault file system folder instead?"
At this stage the OL is something strange. Please your urgent help. The
Outlook is required to synchronize and to back up my PDa

If you are saying your version of Office 2007 doesnt include Outlook & as
such you are trying to install Outlook 2002 then;
Outlook 2002 is not fully compatibel with Vista.- passwords not remembered.
I assume you first uninstalled any trial version of office 2007 that may
have been preinstalled in the new PC
You have to install your earliest Office component (outlook 2002) then
update prior to installing the later version (office 2007)

I'm working with XP and the problem exists w/o connection to the order of

I'm currently running vista on my new desktop. I've tried installing Office
2002 as I own Office XP disc. I can enter my info but when Outlook tries to
open it immediately says it has encountered an error & needs to close. I
have tried running the updates suggested but still no joy. Do you think
uninstalling the 2007 trial version will help? I don't have the $ to
purchase the 2007 upgrade.
Thanks

You have to uninstall any Trial version, together with Activation assistant
& reboot before installing any paid for version.
OfficeXP is not fully compatible with Vista, specifically Outlook will have
issues.
If you google for 'outlook 2002 on vista' you may find some work arounds
