Seeing double

When I receive an email from one of my contacts I always get two
identical ones. He is the only contact that this happens with but he
thinks it is a problem with my set up and not his.
We are both running Microsoft Office 2003 Pro.
Any help would be most welcome to prove if it is me or him with the
problem.

Do you have any rules that operate on messages received from that contact?
They may be causing duplicates.
