Seeing Animation Slides

Hello - how can I see all of the animation slides in normal view?

There is one slide that's only viewable in slide presentation view

There's another slide that I would like to see in normal view after the
animation has executed. (i.e. 3 circles converge in the middle of the screen
as part of the animation. In normal view, I can only see the beginning of
the animation - before the circles have converged. I want to see the end -
after they've converged.

Hi Julie

To see animations when in Normal view use the 'Play' button in the custom
animation taskpane.

It sounds like the slide with the circles uses motion paths - try Shyam's
free motion path end popsition add-in to see the end state:

Hope that helps - if not post back with a bit more detail, especially your
version.

Hello Lucy -

Thank you for the feedback. I need to send my presentation to a customer
that viewed it. I'd like to create a modified version of the presentation
for the customer that has the slide with 3 circles converged - i.e. post
animation. (The customer will want to print the presentation and won't be
able to print the post animation picture - unless I send a version that's set
to print that way.

As for the post animation slide that doesn't appear, I kind of have the same
problem. I want to execute the animation and save that slide.

So for each slide - in my modified version, there would be a "before"
(animation) and "after" animation slide that the customer could print.

Hi Lucy -

I just downloaded the add-in; it worked beautifully for the slide with 3
circles.

It doesn't work for the other one though??? When I try to use it for that
one, it says that there are no motions. (Not true though.... the diagram on
the slide washes away in presentation view - and is replaced by a simplified
diagram. There is no slide for the simplified version of the diagram - so
I'm assuming it's an animation.

Why would the add-in not be able to detect the motion (complicated diagram
washing away to simplified diagram) on that slide?

Hi Julie

If what you want is to have 'extra' slides showing the end states of the
animations the easiest thing to do will be to take screen shots (Prnt Scrn
button) of the slides when they have finished building, add new slides after
the animated ones, insert the screenshots and hide the slides. Then your
client can print all the slides (there is a tick box to print hidden slides
in the print dialogue box. Down in the bottom right hand corner) but the
hidden ones won't show up while presenting. Will that work for you?

BTW the motion path end position add-in is only for motion paths, not other
animations (entrance, emphasis & exit). Sounds like the other slide builds in
a different way - you can tell by looking at the custom animation taskpane -
green things for entrance, red for exit & yellow for emphasis.
