Security Update

When I scan for critical updates at the Windows Website it
lists critical update Q32941 Security Update (MDAC 2.1).
I download it and restart my computer as instructed. The
screen says that the download was installed sucessfully.
When I go back to the Windows website again it shows the
same critical update as needing downloaded. My download
history shows the many time I've done this "successful"
download. Of all the updates that I have downloaded, this
is the only one that has behaved this way. It won't go
away. Any suggestions would be appreciated? Thank you.
