Security Update (819696)

I've installed this update about 20 times now. Restart or not, it always
seems to prompt me to update again within 24 hours. Any ideas?

The update in question is:

Security Update for Microsoft Windows (819696)
An identified security issue in Microsoft DirectX could allow an
attacker....

I usually see this behavior if a user manually installs a Windows Update
patch after the computer has already automatically downloaded the files to
the local system. If this is the case, the resolution can be one of two
actions;

1. Use the Automatic Update wizard to install the updates rather than
manually going to Windows Update.
2. Go to the c:\wutemp folder and delete the files located there.

I'm having exactly the same issue with 819696.

I prefer to manually install all my updates (I check for them daily).

Any other ideas?
