Security Tab in Printers and Faxes gone

I tried pressing control when i right click, still didn't work, what's wrong?
 
I have never used control. Just try right clicking the printer, select
properties and you should see a tab for security. --- Steve
 
I tried that, didnt work. Help & Support in windows says i should hold
ctrl when right clicking to show the sercurity tab.
 
Is your operating system XP Pro or XP Home. In XP Home you can not set
permissions on the printer and there will be no security tab. I believe
there was an error in the Help for that. If you are using XP Pro did this
problem just start happening? --- Steve
 
Simple fix! Go to the printers and faxes page. Click tools-->folder
options... When it loads, chose "view", scroll to the bottom and UNCHECK
"simple file sharing (Recommended). THAT WILL FIX THAT ERROR, ON TO THE
NEXT...
