Security settings and Active X

I have been receiving the following message: "The security setting
prohibit
running Active X controls on the Internet Explorer page." I'll tak
any
suggestions

I get that as well,all that it means is your activex setting are not
allowing the webpage to do something it wants,If the page is displaying fine
then don't worry about it,it could be trying to install something (malware
perhaps but not always).
I have my settings as follows

Download signed active x controls>set to prompt
Download unsigned active x controls>set to disable
Initialize and script active x controls not marked as safe>set to disable
Run active x controls and pluggins>set to enable
Script active x controls marked safe for scripting>set to enable
Java permissions>set to high safety

This provids a balance between security and functionality.
