I have an Access 2000 database. I have one backend database with all my
tables, I have several front end databases whith links to the backend
tables. I am converting the FE and BE databases to 2002-2003 databases.
After I do this my users no longer recieve a request for username and
password and recieve an error as if they were trying to login as admin.
What did I do wrong and or what do I need to do to get my new databases
using one mdw. I tried taking one of the new fe databases and creating a
new mdw created my users, groups, etc. All works fine, but I could not
figure out how to get my other databases to use this new mdw. Is there a
way to do this?

Help.

I have followed the instructions for desecuring a database. It worked and
allowed me to switch to a new mdw for my BE database and one FE database. I
have another FE database, that using my original MDW shows Admins and Users
with full permissions for database, tables, etc. Admin is a users and
admins. When I switch to the new MDW and open the database, the database
shows admin with permissions to Administer database, but no permissions for
tables etc. How do I fix this. I can not figure out why this database is
giving me this trouble and the other FE and BE did not.

Ok, I found I had two problems the first was the rights on the folder I
placed my updated database in. The second I am not sure of, but I fixed by
just creating new databases and importing all of the tables, queries, forms,
etc. Then applying the rights for each group. Now it looks like I am set.
