Security Patch / system slow down

I was reading in PC Magazine about a security patch that really slows down
your machine although they didn't go into detail. My machine has been
sluggish even though I've done the maintenance. Does anybody know of this
and maybe the number of the update so I can delete it or of another fix.

Hi Dave,

It was 814493 but it has been revised. If you are current in your updates,
this wouldn't seem liable to be your problem. Good luck!
