Security Issues "Save As:"

Hi,
We have an database application which has a save as
feature. the problem is we can't turn it off and people
and navigate into other directories on our server, i want
to be able to either limit there access so they can only
browse one directory, or make sure they can't delete any
files, how do i do it?
