is there a security issue with using the PAINT to create a
desktop graphic. I ask this question becaue I was told by
IT staff that I could not have a desktop design created by
using PAINT to create it. when I saved the graphic it gave
me the option of saving it as a desktop. isthere some
reason this poses a security issue for a network? is PAINT
an outside program not part of the XP operating system?

thank you

No, there are no security issues in using MSPaint to create images.

Employee: "Gee, I want to wear a purple shirt to work today."

Guard: "No."

Employee: "Why not? Who cares?"

Guard: "It will scandalize the people. We only wear white here."

Employee: "Oh. Guess I better go move my unmarked purple van then."

Guard: "That's okay, we only tow unmarked white vans. They're a security
risk, you know."
