Hi,
I am doing work at a public library for them and I locked
down the C drive so that nothing can be saved to it. When
a user tries to save a word document to the Floppy, it is
denied. The users have access to the Floppy so thats not
the problem. Is there a temp file that needs to write to
the C drive or is it another issue? I would appreciate
any help.
Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt,

The following Microsoft Knowledge Base Article describes (among other things) Windows
2000 permissions that are required to create or modify Microsoft Word 2000 documents.
