security alert certificate

I have suddenly started receiving pop ups on certain
pages in IE6 with windows xp that read: Security Alert
"the security certificate has expired or not yet valid"
What needs to be done?

Its a problem with web sites using Verisign certificates that have not
updated their intermediate CA certificate on the web site.
https://www.verisign.com/support/site/caReplacement.html


You should be able to update your client using the same methods as well if
you keep encountering sites that have not been updated.

Check Date/Time on your PC. If it's happening on a several sites using SSL
then that's probably the issue.
