After I click the user icon during boot up, it takes my Sony Vaio, 3.2GHz,
Windows XP Media Center Edition about 2 minutes and 35 seconds to finish the
boot up. If I re-boot after un-checking the Security Accounts Manager from
the Services tab in the System Configuration Utility then it takes only 1
minute and 5 seconds to finishing booting up after clicking the user icon.
Is it normal for the Security Accounts Manager to take that long to start up
?
Where can I find information on the Security Accounts Manager purpose/usage
?
Thank's in advance,
Kjartan
