You must give it some kind of name, but a fake alias is OK. Go to
Tools, Accounts, select the news account ("Microsoft Communities"),
Properties; on the General tab change the Name field as desired.
Do the same for the E-mail address. It is recommended to use an
email address ending in ".invalid" (see my email address).
