section/page numbering

I'm working on a document for a client who wants page numbers formatted like
this:

Section A Page X(of the section) to Y(total number of pages in section)

The problem I have is the best i can get is

Section A-X(for whole doc) of Y(of total of whole doc)

So is there a way to either create a template to create the footer I need or
is there a way to format my footer to do this?

Set the page numbering for each Section so that it starts at 1 (use the
format page numbers button on the Headers and Footers toolbar) and then for
the Y use a { SECTIONPAGES } field.

How do I use { sectionpages } instead of Y?

Alt+F9 to display the field codes. Replace the word NumPages with
SectionPages in that field. Alt+F9 again, then F9 to update.
