Section page numbering help please

I need to number section 2 with x of x rather than x of y, i.e. section one
has page 1 of 8 all the way to 7 of 8 and I need section 2 to number 1 of 1,
rather than 1 of 8. Seems like it should be simple....

The "y" in "x of y" is a {NUMPAGES} field that shows the total number of
pages in the document. Right-click it, select Toggle Field Codes, and
replace the word NUMPAGES with the word SECTIONPAGES. Right-click again and
choose Update Field.

Your description is not very clear, but it sounds as if you need to
substitute the SECTIONPAGES field for NUMPAGES as the Y.
