section breaks

Is there a way to change next page section break to a page break in a mail
merge?
I have tried to change the next page to a manual page break by selecting the
entire 150 pages and going to find and replace, but it doesn't change. I
want to be able to place a footer in the entire document but it will only put
it on the first page and I was thinking if it were a page break it would work.

have you tried putting the footer in the mainmerge document, then executing the
merge? that would probably be the simplest approach.

Anything else would require a macro solution (or a lot of manual labor)
