Second Startup

2000 Pro will not start on the first try. It gets past the 2000 screen and
hangs with the hourglass showing. Shut it down and push the start button and
it fires right up. This behavior is consistant. First boot-no. Second
boot-yes.

I have the same problem for a client of mine. I can find nothing that causes
this problem, have removed several trojan dialers "Trojan Horse Dialer.8.BC"
and removed other malware using ad aware and spybot. But it still does the
second boot. Also tried new users and passwords to no advantage. Any help
would be appreciated.
