second email and dial up

I share my computer with my brother and have a second
email address for him through my provider.
When I set up a new dial up for him it does not work
because it seems to be finding another password and
ignores the one I type in.
Even when I go into properties, this different password is
there. It is even there on the dial up for mine now,
though it does seem to work for my own dial up as if I
have two different functioning passwords.
Can some one help.

Are you sure the modem is sending the wrong password? It has been awhile,
but I recall receiving "wrong password" type errors with DUN 1.2 if I had a
particular PPP setting checked.

My only suggestion would be to go through each tab of both connections to
ensure the various encryption, secure password, and protocol settings are
identical.
