searching from outlook express

Is there any way to search the archives of these postings from outlook
express? I know how to do it from the web reader but not outlook.

Also, is there a way to flip the order of postings to show he most recent
postings at the top of the window?

Thanks again for any help!

Instead of using a web-based newsreader, use the newsreader in Outlook Express.

An easier way to read, post, and find newsgroup messages:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/using/newsgroups/setup.asp

Carey;

does this address the question?

i didn't think OE or any newsreader would access ARCHIVES unless you
went directly to the newsgroup, IE not accessing thru a news server.

I have gotten to archives before with IE going directly to the MS
server but I forgot how.

I found part 2 of the answer

go to http://groups.google.com/
in IE.

drill down to what you want.

You can access 420,000 messages in this group alone.
I searched for one I have saved which was posted in APRIL and it found
it.
